Walt Disney World is adjusting its evening shows to match the longer days and later sunsets this spring. The popular fireworks show Happily Ever After and the Disney Starlight parade in Magic Kingdom are getting new start times, and Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios is also changing its schedule.

After daylight saving time began on Sunday, March 8, the Disney Starlight parade now starts at 8:15 PM each evening in Magic Kingdom. Previously, it ran at 7:45 PM, but the time has been pushed back to better align with the longer days and later sunsets. On select evenings—especially Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—an additional performance is also added at 10:30 PM. This gives guests greater flexibility to experience the magical parade featuring characters from Encanto, Frozen, and Peter Pan.

At the same time, Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom has been moved from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM starting March 8. The change is due to the days growing longer as spring progresses—Disney wants the show to begin when it’s fully dark, while also creating a better flow with the parade and other evening attractions. From April 19, the fireworks show will start even later, at 10:00 PM.
At Hollywood Studios, showtimes for Fantasmic! have also been adjusted. After March 8, the show begins at 8:30 PM (with an additional performance at 10:00 PM on select nights). The 8:30 PM time remains in place through April 24, when the show moves to a 9:00 PM start.

At EPCOT, however, there are no changes. Luminous – The Symphony of Us continues to start at 9:00 PM every night.
All of these adjustments are typical during the transition from winter to spring and summer at Walt Disney World. Longer days and later sunsets mean Disney needs to shift showtimes to ensure the best possible experience—and to avoid guests waiting around in daylight.
Always check the exact times in the My Disney Experience app or the official calendar shortly before your visit. Weather, special events, or park hours may affect the schedule. Later showtimes also mean later nights, which is perfect for those looking to maximize their day, but worth keeping in mind for families with young children and when planning transportation back.
