Transportation

Walt Disney World is as large as twice the size of Manhattan, but there are nice large roads, and not too many problems getting around. Of course, there will be some extra traffic on the most visited days in high season, especially on the way into the park in the morning. It usually always goes smoother on the way out of the park, even when many are leaving at once. There are many roads in and out of Disney World, so there are rarely big traffic jams.

You can also use Disney’s free transportation between the parks and hotels (sometimes requires changing transportation along the way). Depending on where you are going, you can use both boat, monorail, and bus. Disney also operates several gondola lifts, which, among other things, can take you from Epcot to Hollywood Studios.
